National Learn to Row Day Celebration
Have you always wanted to give rowing a try? Would you like a weekend adventure with friends or family?  Is your child looking for a fun new sport? We saved you a seat in the boat!
Litchfield Hills Rowing Club and Litchfield Park & Rec 
invite all curious people ages 12 to 112 to a free learn to row event and open house at the rowing club.  
Learn how to use a rowing machine  and then hop in a boat and get out on beautiful Bantam Lake all with the help of our expert coaching staff.
You can also just come on down to look at the boats, learn some new crossword vocabulary, enjoy the music and have a delicious snack. 
 8:30am to 1:00pm on June 1 st
  Register at: Litchfield Park & Rec   to reserve your spot in a boat 
Walk ups are welcome between 9am and noon.

How to Register for this FREE Event
  • Create a household account (if you have not already done so)
  • Register yourself for Learn to Row with LHRC
  • Pick A Time Slot
  • Continue through to "Check Out Online"
  • Once you click Process, you will then be confirmed of your time slot.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to you once you have completed the process.

Waiver for Spot on Boats
  • Download the USRowing Waiver
  • Fill it out and bring it with you on June 1st!
  • (If you can't print it, there will be waivers available to fill out and sign. Waivers need to be signed by an adult/guardian 18 and over)
