While expecting her first child, disillusioned with the academic world, she decided to leave and re-invent herself. Pilates proved a natural next step. Since being first introduced to the method in 2005, she fell in love with it. She continued her recreational practice, on and off, then inspired by the lack of satisfying Mommy and Me classes in her area, decided to pursue a career as a Pilates instructor herself. As a new mom she wanted to be part of an optimistic, family friendly, healing and happy environment, as well as carry her new found passion over to others. She became Core Mat I and II certified instructor in the Fall 2012 while pregnant with her second child.Agata has been teaching mat for 5+ years and is a fully certified teacher. She has been teaching at Power Pilates, NYC for nearly two years in person and virtually. Group classes, privates on the mat and the pilates equipment. Agata enjoys working with children as well as Active Older Adults, men and women in ALL stages and paths of life!

What is Essentrics?It’s a unique exercise technique that honor’s the body’s natural design. It’s intelligent movement that works with the neuromuscular system to rebalance each joint and increase the range of motion!  It’s great for anyone and all ages are welcome.Veteran fitness teacher Maureen Bellmay is a certified Essentrics instructor who describes the new technique. “It’s unlike anything I have experienced before. Alignment Based YogaIn this class:Enhance your general well-being in this yoga practice that develops strength and flexibility. This is an especially accessible style that focuses on alignment and includes challenges to students of all levels.Together, we will:- practice balanced sequences of traditional hatha yoga postures and their variations- use props for support and as tools to practice yoga safely and fully- moderate the pace allowing time for discovery and restoration- emphasize learning through teacher instruction to help deepen understanding- work towards alleviating aches and pains, reducing stress, and improving posture in every life.This class is appropriate for beginning students including those with tighter, stiffer bodies; practitioners with some yoga experience; as well as long time practitioners.Bring a yoga mat and blanket or beach towel. Additional props including blocks, belts and chairs are provided, or bring your own if you prefer.About Beverly:Beverly is a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher with extensive study in various traditional and alignment styles. Her interests lie in understanding and working with natural movement principles so students can create a safe and sustainable yoga practice. Join Miss Sherry at the Bantam Gym with your kiddos all school year long! On FRIDAYS from September 23rd to June 2023!!**minimum of 6 participants for each group for class to runParent/Tot Tumbletime:  Parents and little ones (18 months up to 3 years old) work together and follow Miss Sherry's direction in movement and tumbling on mats! (Parents are key to this program and should be able to participate)Gymnastics/Hip Hop: Kids (options for ages 4-6 OR ages 7-10) will learn the basics of hip hop with a combo of gymnastics! (Parents please drop off for this programSome important information to note:- Classes run from September 23rd to June 2023 with a performance in June. (Parent tot class will not have a performance.)- Each session is $175, which is for 12 weeks. The school year will include 3 sessions. For Gymnastics and Gymnastics/Hip Hop there will be a one-time registration which includes all three sessions and the end of year performance (but not the cost associated with the performance). Payment will not be required until two weeks before the start of each session. - Dance attire is required for the above classes, example of proper attire is a leotard, tights, leggings with bare feet please.- Please bring a water bottle with you, and leave the snacks and food at home!- Parental observation of the classes is not allowed for the gymnastics and gymnastics hip/hop programs. Parents sitting in the gym have proved to be a distraction to both the children and the instructor. Please drop off your little dancers for these options.- A performance, location to be determined, will take place in June for the Gymnastics and Gymnastics Hip/hop Classes. Costs associated with the performance will be the costume and tickets for the performance and is not included in the registration price. Miss Sherry will provide dancers and parents with all pertinent information regarding the performance as that date gets closer! Such as location, costumes price and ticket prices. - No refunds will be given once classes begin, except for a medical refunds

While expecting her first child, disillusioned with the academic world, she decided to leave and re-invent herself. Pilates proved a natural next step. Since being first introduced to the method in 2005, she fell in love with it. She continued her recreational practice, on and off, then inspired by the lack of satisfying Mommy and Me classes in her area, decided to pursue a career as a Pilates instructor herself. As a new mom she wanted to be part of an optimistic, family friendly, healing and happy environment, as well as carry her new found passion over to others. She became Core Mat I and II certified instructor in the Fall 2012 while pregnant with her second child.Agata has been teaching mat for 5+ years and is a fully certified teacher. She has been teaching at Power Pilates, NYC for nearly two years in person and virtually. Join Miss Sherry at the Bantam Gym with your kiddos all school year long! On FRIDAYS from September 23rd to June 2023!!**minimum of 6 participants for each group for class to runParent/Tot Tumbletime:  Parents and little ones (18 months up to 3 years old) work together and follow Miss Sherry's direction in movement and tumbling on mats! (Parents are key to this program and should be able to participate)Gymnastics/Hip Hop: Kids (options for ages 4-6 OR ages 7-10) will learn the basics of hip hop with a combo of gymnastics! (Parents please drop off for this programSome important information to note:- Classes run from September 23rd to June 2023 with a performance in June. (Parent tot class will not have a performance.)- Each session is $175, which is for 12 weeks. The school year will include 3 sessions. For Gymnastics and Gymnastics/Hip Hop there will be a one-time registration which includes all three sessions and the end of year performance (but not the cost associated with the performance). Payment will not be required until two weeks before the start of each session. - Dance attire is required for the above classes, example of proper attire is a leotard, tights, leggings with bare feet please.- Please bring a water bottle with you, and leave the snacks and food at home!- Parental observation of the classes is not allowed for the gymnastics and gymnastics hip/hop programs. Parents sitting in the gym have proved to be a distraction to both the children and the instructor. Alignment Based YogaIn this class:Enhance your general well-being in this yoga practice that develops strength and flexibility. This is an especially accessible style that focuses on alignment and includes challenges to students of all levels.Together, we will:- practice balanced sequences of traditional hatha yoga postures and their variations- use props for support and as tools to practice yoga safely and fully- moderate the pace allowing time for discovery and restoration- emphasize learning through teacher instruction to help deepen understanding- work towards alleviating aches and pains, reducing stress, and improving posture in every life.This class is appropriate for beginning students including those with tighter, stiffer bodies; practitioners with some yoga experience; as well as long time practitioners.Bring a yoga mat and blanket or beach towel. Additional props including blocks, belts and chairs are provided, or bring your own if you prefer.About Beverly:Beverly is a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher with extensive study in various traditional and alignment styles. Her interests lie in understanding and working with natural movement principles so students can create a safe and sustainable yoga practice. It’s intelligent movement that works with the neuromuscular system to rebalance each joint and increase the range of motion!  It’s great for anyone and all ages are welcome.Veteran fitness teacher Maureen Bellmay is a certified Essentrics instructor who describes the new technique. “It’s unlike anything I have experienced before. Essentrics will benefit yogis, runners, cross fitters, cyclist or the new to exercise person to rebalance their body in a healthy and efficient way.”**Note new class time on Wednesday evenings!!Classes are Mondays 4:30-5:30, Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. & Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. at the Bantam gym.  5 or 10 PACK OPTION! While expecting her first child, disillusioned with the academic world, she decided to leave and re-invent herself. Pilates proved a natural next step. Since being first introduced to the method in 2005, she fell in love with it. She continued her recreational practice, on and off, then inspired by the lack of satisfying Mommy and Me classes in her area, decided to pursue a career as a Pilates instructor herself. As a new mom she wanted to be part of an optimistic, family friendly, healing and happy environment, as well as carry her new found passion over to others. She became Core Mat I and II certified instructor in the Fall 2012 while pregnant with her second child.Agata has been teaching mat for 5+ years and is a fully certified teacher. She has been teaching at Power Pilates, NYC for nearly two years in person and virtually. Group classes, privates on the mat and the pilates equipment. Agata enjoys working with children as well as Active Older Adults, men and women in ALL stages and paths of life!
