This is an especially accessible style that focuses on alignment and includes challenges to students of all levels.Together, we will:- practice balanced sequences of traditional hatha yoga postures and their variations- use props for support and as tools to practice yoga safely and fully- moderate the pace allowing time for discovery and restoration- emphasize learning through teacher instruction to help deepen understanding- work towards alleviating aches and pains, reducing stress, and improving posture in every life.This class is appropriate for beginning students including those with tighter, stiffer bodies; practitioners with some yoga experience; as well as long time practitioners.Bring a yoga mat and blanket or beach towel. Additional props including blocks, belts and chairs are provided, or bring your own if you prefer.About Beverly:Beverly is a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher with extensive study in various traditional and alignment styles. Her interests lie in understanding and working with natural movement principles so students can create a safe and sustainable yoga practice.
