This is an especially accessible style that focuses on alignment and includes challenges to students of all levels.Together, we will:- practice balanced sequences of traditional hatha yoga postures and their variations- use props for support and as tools to practice yoga safely and fully- moderate the pace allowing time for discovery and restoration- emphasize learning through teacher instruction to help deepen understanding- work towards alleviating aches and pains, reducing stress, and improving posture in every life.This class is appropriate for beginning students including those with tighter, stiffer bodies; practitioners with some yoga experience; as well as long time practitioners.Bring a yoga mat and blanket or beach towel. Litchfield Resident Beach Parking PassesPermit required for use of Litchfield Town Beach: Address of Town Beach:244 North Shore Road, Litchfield, CT Resident parking/use passes shall be required FOR ALL Town of Litchfield Residents: -Residents of the Town of Litchfield shall be as designated as a taxpayer of either real estate or of motor vehicle(s) to the Town of Litchfield.-To obtain a parking/use pass to the Litchfield Town Beach the following shall be necessary:The applicant shall create a household account on the Park and Recreation online registration site and purchase a membership for the Town Beach pass.Residents shall present a paid tax bill/receipt at the Town of Litchfield Park & Recreation Office with the vehicle registration plate number if registering with a motor vehicle or current property tax bill/receipt when picking up the pass.-One parking pass shall be given per “household”, defined as a single physical street address. In the case of apartment and condominium units, each unit shall constitute a “household”. KAYAK/SUP SLIP RENTALS 2025 SEASON40 Spots are available.  Once spots are filled, you name will be put on a waiting list.Storage Season: May 1 - November 1, 2026and is for LITCHFIELD RESIDENTS ONLYLimit: 2 slips per household.Storage Fee: $60 per slot for the season.*All slips holders must have a 2024/2025 Beach Parking Pass in addition to purchasing a 2025/26 Beach Parking Pass. Passes must be purchased when paying for your KAYAK/SUP Slip.  Please call the office if you have any questions about Beach Parking Pass.Full amount for slip and Beach Parking Passes must be paid when registering for your spot. Slip spots will be assigned on April 15 and you will be notified by email.  You may place your Kayak/SUP on the racks on May 1.Applicants MUST provide their own locking device.  The Town of Litchfield is not responsible for any theft or damage of KAYAKS/SUP.
